Certification Details BLS NIHSS Job Details Medsurg / Onc RN position at St Alexius Health Bismarck Medical Center Core staff to do chemotherapy Common diagnoses include adults and geriatrics, strokes, hypertension, COPD, cellulitis, CHF, A fib non RVR, chest pain, MI after ICU, and surgical overflow. Job Requirements BLS certification required NIHSS certification required Experience with trach and BiPAP preferred but not required RNs required to titrate drips Charge Nurse available on each shift Nurse aids / patient care techs available on the unit Schedule Information 0700-1930 and 1900-0730 shifts Manager to make schedule Weekend requirement : Every other Holiday requirement : As needed No call or standby requirement 1-2 shifts of unit / department specific orientation Unit Specific Information Floating to other MedSurg units required No specific scrub color required Will consider block scheduling if unit needs are met Additional Details Great unit culture and teamwork Family oriented unit Travelers to feel supported Radius Rule : 50 miles RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract)
