Our flagship location in Atlanta will feature private dining and tavern experiences, member programming, an outfitter concierge, and immersive travel offerings. We’re seeking a strategic and dynamic Director of Programming & Partnerships to lead development and execution of our recreational travel programming and premium partnerships that are valued by the St Albans member community and contribute to the overall club experience. .

 


Position Overview

St. Albans Sporting Club is seeking a dynamic and driven Director of Programming & Partnerships to lead and oversee all aspects of member programming, travel experiences, membership events, and strategic partnerships. This is a strategic role and a key component of the St Albans Sporting Club leadership team, reporting to the CEO. This role is ideal for a highly organized, relationship-driven individual who thrives in hospitality, outdoor sporting, luxury travel, and private club environments and has the capability to develop and execute a business strategy while functioning in a team environment. The Director will play a pivotal role in developing and growing St. Albans’ member experiences, cultivating partnerships, and ensuring the highest level of service for our membership.

 


Travel Program Management & Sales

·     Sell, oversee, and manage all aspects of the St. Albans Travel Program for members.

·     Coordinate domestic and international travel, and itineraries.

·     Develop and present custom travel proposals tailored to members’ interests.

·     Work closely with hospitality partners, lodges, outfitters, and travel providers to enhance member experiences.

·     Assist in implementing marketing strategies to promote St. Albans travel opportunities to members and prospective members.



Membership Events & Experiences

·     Plan, market, and execute membership events, including partner dinners and culinary events, lodge presentations and sporting travel showcases, OEM partner events, sporting competitions, and social events.

·     Manage event logistics, vendor coordination, and overall member engagement.

·     Identify and secure strategic event sponsorships and partnerships.



Partnership & Business Development

·     Seek out and manage partnerships with OEMs, premier properties, lodges, outfitters, artists, and luxury brands aligned with the St. Albans vision.

·     Negotiate and maintain agreements with key partners to enhance value for members.

·     Represent St. Albans Sporting Club at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to expand brand presence and build relationships.

·     Develop co-branded initiatives and experiences with partners to enhance member offerings.



Collaboration & Strategic Vision

·     Work closely with St. Albans leadership, Indigo Road Hospitality Group, and key stakeholders to develop the travel programming and partnerships strategy that aligns with the overall vision of the Club and delivers targeted economic results. 

·     Ensure all programs, partnerships, and events contribute to a cohesive member experience and drive long-term success.



Brand Representation & Outreach

·     Serve as an ambassador for St. Albans Sporting Club at industry events, member events, and private engagements.

·     Build and maintain strong relationships with members, prospective members, and industry partners.

·     Provide insight and strategy for enhancing St. Albans’ visibility, programming, and member experience.



Travel Requirements

·      Travel as required to attend member trips, industry events, key partnership meetings, and familiarization trips.



Qualifications & Experience

·     5 years experience in hospitality, private club, outdoor industry, luxury travel, events, partnerships, or related field

·     Strong fundamental business skills including strategic and entrepreneurial mindset, P&L management capability and negotiation skills.

·     Experience in or strong knowledge of the hunting, fishing, outfitting, lodge, outdoor industry, or sporting travel space strongly preferred

·     Experience planning and executing events, trips, or member experiences

·     Experience building and managing partnerships and professional relationships

·     Organized and able to manage multiple projects, events, and trips at the same time

·     Comfortable working in an entrepreneurial environment with a high level of autonomy

·     Strong communication skills

·     Professional presence and ability to work with members, partners, and leadership

·     Willingness to travel for events, partner meetings, and member trips
