Duties

• Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and social skills.
• Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and positive behavior management.
• Conduct ongoing assessments of children’s developmental progress through observations and standardized testing methods.
• Collaborate with families to support each child's unique needs, including those requiring special education or early intervention services.
• Manage classroom activities and routines effectively to foster a structured learning atmosphere conducive to growth and exploration.
• Incorporate Montessori principles and other educational philosophies to enhance child-centered learning experiences.
• Plan engaging lessons that incorporate literacy education, math skills, physical activities, and social-emotional learning tailored to preschool and toddler care settings.
• Maintain accurate documentation of student progress, attendance records, and lesson plans in compliance with program requirements.
• Support children’s welfare by promoting positive behavior management strategies and ensuring their safety at all times.
• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities related to childhood development, classroom management, and childcare best practices.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of childhood development theories and early intervention strategies.
• Experience developing curriculum that integrates literacy education, math concepts, physical education, and social skills.
• Proven classroom management skills that foster a positive learning environment for young children.
• Ability to work effectively with children across various age groups including toddlers and preschoolers.

• Experience implementing Montessori methods or other child-centered educational approaches is highly desirable.
