Infant/Toddler Teacher (2 years old-2.9 years old)
We are seeking a warm, patient, and energetic Infant/Toddler Teacher to join our growing program!
Primarily working with children ages 2 years- 2.9 years old, supporting their growing independence, language development, social-emotional skills, and curiosity through play-based learning.. The ideal candidate is someone who loves the toddler age group and understands how to guide them through big milestones with warmth and structure.
Key Responsibilities
Classroom Environment & Care
-Create a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom aligned with EEC standards
-Support children with daily routines including toileting, meals, transitions, and rest time
-Encourage positive behavior through modeling, redirection, and consistent expectations
Curriculum & Learning
-Plan and implement hands-on, age appropriate activities that promote language, social-emotional development, fine/gross motor skills, and early cognitive learning
-Incorporate sensory play, music, art, movement, and circle time learning
-Observe, document, and display children's work following program expectations
Family Communication & Team Collaboration
-Build strong connections with families through daily communications and ongoing updates
-Collaborate with classroom teammates to maintain a positive, supportive teaching environment
-Participate in staff meetings, ongoing training, and professional development
Health & Safety
-Maintain proper supervision at all times and ensure the environment meets EEC health and safety guidelines
-Monitor behavior, development, and overall wellness
-Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom
Qualifications
-EEC Infant/Toddler Teacher Certification (Required)
-Experience working with toddlers preferred
-CPR/First Aid certification or willing to obtain
-Ability to lift up to 40lbs and engage in active floor play
-Warm, reliable, flexible, and committed to high-quality early education
