Set-Up Technician

SSW Premier, LLC (Previously known as Premier Manufacturing) is a division of SSW Advance Technologies, a global leader in metal forming for the consumer products industry. We are searching at Machine Setup Technician for 1st & 2nd shift at our plant in Henderson, Tennessee. As a result of our commitment to quality our facility is expanding rapidly. Primary Responsibilities:

This position requires individual to setup machinery to include wire cutting, resistance welders, industrial presses, etc. to company standard to manufacture product to customer specification.

Essential Functions:

The following job functions are not all-inclusive. The employee will be required to perform other job-related tasks/responsibilities requested by the Supervisor and/or Management. Job duties may change as required by needs of company.

• Work Safely to perform the tasks as listed below:
• Set up and adjust fill-wire machine. this includes removing & installing points, fixtures, adjusting welding arms, etc.
• Troubleshoot machines to determine if issue is setup related or maintenance related.
• Set up and adjust final operations, (Form press, trimmer and hook weld).
• Complete all work orders as needed and follow them thru to completion.
• Follow schedule of assignment.
• Completing paperwork as required by department manager, supervisor, and / or quality department.
• Adhering to standards for the work areas as defined by facility management.

Educational/Training Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent, Industrial Maintenance Certificate preferred but not required

Experience Requirements:

• One or more years of experience in machine setup or maintenance working in a manufacturing environment.
• Should have very good mechanical skills to include troubleshooting problems.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
