Job Overview:
Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist, where you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services. This energetic position requires a skilled professional who is passionate about patient care, radiologic imaging, and ensuring radiation safety protocols are meticulously followed. As a CT Technologist, you will operate advanced imaging equipment to produce detailed cross-sectional images of the body, supporting accurate diagnosis and treatment planning across diverse clinical settings, including emergency rooms and trauma centers. Your expertise will contribute to life-saving interventions and comprehensive patient evaluations in fast-paced environments.

Duties

• Perform computed tomography scans with precision, utilizing radiologic imaging equipment to acquire high-resolution images for diagnostic evaluation.
• Operate specialized modalities such as PET scans, fluoroscopy, mammography, DEXA scans, and nuclear medicine procedures to support diverse diagnostic needs.
• Implement radiation safety procedures diligently to protect patients, staff, and yourself during all imaging processes.
• Assist in emergency room and Level I or Level II trauma center scenarios by providing urgent care imaging services promptly and accurately.
• Conduct interventional radiology procedures, including angiography and other minimally invasive techniques, ensuring aseptic technique and patient comfort.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to interpret physiological data and provide comprehensive diagnostic radiology support.
• Educate patients about procedures, ensure proper positioning for optimal imaging results, and deliver compassionate patient care throughout the process.
• Maintain detailed documentation of procedures performed, equipment calibration logs, and safety compliance records in accordance with hospital policies.

Experience

• Proven experience operating radiologic imaging equipment such as CT scanners, X-ray machines, fluoroscopy units, and nuclear medicine devices.
• Prior work in urgent care settings or emergency room environments is highly desirable.
• Experience working within Level I or Level II trauma centers demonstrating ability to handle high-pressure situations efficiently.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic evaluation techniques essential for accurate imaging interpretation.
• Familiarity with radiation safety procedures and implementing radiation safety protocols during all procedures.
• Hands-on experience with interventional radiography procedures including PET scans and interventional radiology techniques preferred.
• Strong understanding of medical imaging standards across various modalities such as mammography and DEXA scans to support comprehensive patient assessments.

Pay: $2,699.15 - $3,000.00 per week
