Role Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Engineer with deep experience in IBM Sterling File Gateway (SFG) and AWS services to play a critical role in supporting and evolving our enterprise-grade file transfer platform. This is a production-focused operational role that emphasizes stability, security, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Support, maintain, and enhance IBM SFG-based integrations.
Collaborate with AWS-focused teams to enable secure cloud-to-cloud file transfers.
Address operational issues, including incident response, system monitoring, and vulnerability remediation.
Guide integration strategies for new partners and systems using SFG.
Write Python scripts for automation, system integration, and monitoring.
Provide documentation and support for production environments.
Work closely with cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies.
Must-Have Skills:
IBM Sterling File Gateway (SFG) or Sterling Integrator (SI) experience.
Strong programming skills in Python for scripting, automation, and integrations.
Hands-on experience with AWS services, especially: EC2, Lambda, KMS (Key Management Service), IAM, VPC, and basic networking concepts
