This role is a critical backfill position, with precision Jig Grinding as the primary responsibility. The ideal candidate will be an accomplished toolmaker or machinist with strong inspection capabilities and the mathematical aptitude required for complex setups and high-tolerance work.While Jig Grinding will be the primary daily function, this role will also support additional machining operations as needed.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform precision Jig Grinding as the primary function of the roleConduct detailed inspections to ensure tight tolerances and quality standardsOperate and set up:Manual milling machinesCNC milling machinesOD GrindersSurface GrindersUtilize sine plates and precision measurement toolsApply strong shop math and trigonometry skills independentlySupport toolmaking and machining activities as requiredRequired Skills & ExperienceProven experience as a Toolmaker and/or MachinistStrong background in Jig Grinding (preferred)Experience with precision inspection and high-tolerance workFamiliarity with sine plates and advanced measurement techniquesAbility to independently perform complex setups and calculationsWillingness to perform Jig Grinding as the primary daily taskPreferred QualificationsAccomplished toolmaker willing to be trained in Jig Grinding if not already experiencedExperience in a job shop or high-precision manufacturing environmentCompensationPay Range: $35.00 – $40.00 per hour, based on experienceBenefitsVacationHolidays: 9 paid holidays per yearHealth Insurance: Anthem (effective 1st of the month after 30 days)Dental Insurance: (effective 1st of the month after 30 days)Vision InsuranceLife Insurance: Company-paid Long-Term Disability401(k)INDHPowered by JazzHRfWnE4zxkDk
