Core Responsibilities
- Process payroll on a weekly basis.
- Calculate wages, deductions, bonuses, and overtime based on employee records.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.
- Handle employee payroll inquiries and resolve issues as they arise.
- Maintain payroll records and reports for auditing purposes.
Qualifications
- Proven payroll/timekeeping experience in work history.
- Previous experience within the construction industry strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of payroll systems and tax regulations.
- Proficient in Excel, especially with formulas and pivot tables.
- Timerack and Avionte experience a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in payroll processing.
- Must be comfortable being employee facing.
