  • Extract and utilize production and historical cost data to improve estimate accuracy and project planning
  • Collaborate across company divisions, including prefabrication and other self-perform capabilities, to incorporate production efficiencies into estimates
  • Participate in estimate reviews and present pricing, assumptions, risks, and recommendations to project leadership
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of estimating processes, tools, and best practices

Ideal Candidate

  • 4–6 years of experience in electrical construction estimating, preconstruction, cost analysis, project controls, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of commercial electrical construction and the ability to interpret electrical drawings, specifications, one-line diagrams, and scopes of work
  • Experience estimating electrical labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and related project costs
  • Experience with commercial electrical construction or technically complex projects strongly preferred
  • Experience with power distribution, lighting, low-voltage, medium-voltage, or other electrical infrastructure is highly valued
  • Experience with data centers, advanced technology, mission-critical, healthcare, life sciences, higher education, industrial, or renewable-energy projects is a plus
  • Experience with design-build, VDC/BIM, prefabrication, or self-perform construction is preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple estimates, priorities, and deadlines
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with project teams, vendors, subcontractors, and clients
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and construction estimating/takeoff software
