Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial, residential, and industrial spaces, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and trash removal
- Conduct routine janitorial tasks like restroom sanitation, window washing, and surface disinfecting to promote hygiene
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks including minor repairs and upkeep to support overall building operations
- Follow safety protocols during all cleaning activities to ensure a secure work environment
- Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and notify supervisors when stock needs replenishing
- Support additional custodial duties such as painting touch-ups or light maintenance as needed
Experience
- Prior janitorial or custodial experience preferred, especially in commercial or industrial settings
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, safety procedures, and proper equipment use is beneficial
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to established standards
