Waupun provides services to all age ranges to include primary therapies, medication management, etc. Ripon includes a walk-in behavioral health clinic. Travel to Fond du Lac occasionally would also be needed. This position will support a small case load as well. Job Summary:
Supervises staff and daily work activities within behavioral health.Job Responsibilities and Requirements:
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Determines, coordinates and supervises daily staffing assignments and staffing levels.
- Provides leadership, orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring. Assists with hiring, performance evaluations, disciplinary actions and termination procedures.
- Coordinates delivery of patient care and/or services with other members of the healthcare team to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes.
- Participates in direct delivery of care depending on patient census. Completes patient evaluations and treatments as needed.
- Participates in ongoing short and long range planning to help ensure the organization's behavioral health needs are met.
- Ensure departmental compliance with federal and state regulations, regulatory agencies and third-party payers.
- Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION
- Master's degree in Behavioral Health or related field
EXPERIENCE
- Four years' experience
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Frequent reaching, sitting, standing and walking.
- Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more).
- Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.
- Frequent keyboard use/data entry.
- Occasional bending, stooping, climbing, twisting and gripping.
- Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
- Occasional use of vision to identify and distinguish colors.
- Occasional driving.
- Rare repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements and squatting.
