The After-Hours Dispatcher will receive incoming customer calls & emails, scheduling service as needed. The candidate will maintain customer database with current information. This position will require clear and concise communications with department managers, employees and company customers, including keeping customers current as to company schedule and requested lead-times. Prepare service invoices and timecards for processing.
Required Qualifications:
- Advanced customer service skills.
- Strong organizational skills with ability to multi task
- Geographical knowledge of service area and map reading skills
- Knowledge of HVAC industry is strongly preferred, commercial industry a plus
- Facility Portal experience such as Service Channel, Versace, Corrigo, EcoTrak, etc preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and the ability to type 40 words a minute
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Two years dispatch and/or project management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in HVAC industry
Daily Duties:
- Take incoming customer calls and coordinate all service calls as needed
- Maintain technician schedules
- Contact customers with a “Parts Pending” status as parts are received for scheduling
- Update customer database
- Complete customer invoices
- Compare time cards to GPS Report
- Other duties as assigned
Schedule:
- Training Schedule: M-F 8am-5pm; In office
- After initial training, schedule is as follows:
- Monday-Thursday Evening working from home, plus
- Tuesday and Thursday work 4-6 hours in office, plus
- In office as needed
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
