What are the responsibilities and job description for the Outside Sales Representative position at SSi Petroleum?
ABOUT THE ROLE:
- Develop and manage a portfolio of fuel and petroleum customers through regular on-site sales calls.
- Prospect and secure new commercial and industrial fuel accounts.
- Promote and sell fuel products, lubricants, and petroleum-related services.
- Monitor pricing, margins, and market conditions.
- Prepare, present, and follow up on fuel quotes and contracts.
- Collaborate with dispatch, operations, credit, and inside sales.
- Assist customers with forecasting and delivery scheduling.
- Track competitive activity and report market intelligence.
- Maintain CRM records, forecasts, and expense reports.
- Attend product, safety, and industry training.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3 years outside sales experience.
- Understanding of fuel & lubricant markets is a plus.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Microsoft Office proficiency.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
