Description:
Key Duties/Responsibilities
This position will rotate general laborer positions including stacker, scaler, block handler for breaks and lunches or as directed.
- Completes tasks for the job that this position is rotating into for a short period of time
- Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly work area
- Performs other related duties as requested
Stacker
- Sort patties as they come off conveyor belt
- stack patties neatly in designated boxes to weight specification
- Repetitive movements in a fast paced environment for long periods of time
Scaler
- Check and adjust box weights as needed
- Ensure plastic liners completely and securely cover the completed care prior to taping
- May conduct box count checks
- Inspects equipment prior to use to ensure proper setup and operation.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Basic math, language, and reading skills
- Ability to handle equipment and vehicles safely and sensibly
Education and Experience
- High school diploma preferred
Physical Requirements
- Ability to maintain a single task focus and situational awareness
- Must be able to move and lift up to 60-pound wooden skid or pallet
- Able to work in a cold refrigerated environment for up to 10 hours.
