Position Summary
The Welder will perform welding, and cutting of metal components using flame-cutting and hand-welding equipment. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to plan work order procedures.
- Weld and fabricate a variety of components using proper techniques and tools.
- Inspect and monitor welding processes to prevent overheating, warping, or distortion.
- Assemble, tack, and weld parts in vertical, flat, and overhead positions.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, organized work environment.
- Report faulty equipment or defective materials promptly.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to weld in vertical, flat, and overhead positions.
- Manual dexterity and visual acuity for precision work.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.

Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in fabrication and welding.
- Proficiency in PVF (pipe, valves, fittings) welding and fitting.
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Experience welding cut pipe, flanges, ports, drains, and other attachments.
- Familiarity with setup, positioning, and angular measurements.
- Must pass a demonstration weld test.
