Job Description Job Title: Associate Director, Private Equity Accounting Locations: New York, NY (hybrid), Boston, MA (hybrid) and Union, NJ (hybrid) About the Role Associate Directors on the Private Markets Accounting team manage and lead teams in monitoring client deliverables while developing and executing strategic plans for continued business development.  Why Join SS&C SS&C combines proprietary technology with deep industry expertise to support complex financial and health care operations. How You Will Make an Impact Lead teams supporting fund administration services to clients Support multiple client implementations and onboarding events Create, maintain, and/or review distribution waterfall (carried interest) models Review fund governing documents, offering documents and investment management agreements Plan and oversee the preparation of audited and unaudited financial statements, partner capital statements and underlying work papers Manage the year-end audit process, in collaboration with the client and auditors Implement effective processes to improve the overall operations Participate in new client business analysis with prospects and existing clients Required Experience Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field  12 years’ experience in Private Equity/Real Assets fund accounting  ·3 years’ experience supervising, training, delegating and managing large teams  Hands -on management style with strong leadership skills and ability to develop staff  Excellent client relationship and project management skills  Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization  Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, advanced Excel skills required  What Sets You Apart CPA / Master's degree are pluses Join SS&C, where innovation meets global opportunities. Actual base salary will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to relevant skills, prior experience, education, demonstrated performance, and geographic location. New Jersey: The expected base salary for the position is between 94000 USD to 205000 USD. New York: The expected base salary for the position is between 95000. USD to 170000. USD. Massachusetts: The expected base salary for the position is between 90000 USD to 180000 USD. In addition, employees in this role may be eligible for consideration on an annual basis for a discretionary bonus and/or equity awards, such as restricted stock units or stock options, based upon individual and business performance at the company’s discretion.
