Role Description

This is a full-time and part-time, on-site role for a General Cleaner located in Bentonville, AR. The General Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in assigned areas. Daily tasks include sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, restocking supplies, and sanitizing surfaces to maintain a hygienic environment. Other duties may include operating cleaning equipment, following established schedules and protocols, and promptly responding to cleaning requests. The General Cleaner works as part of a team to support a safe, clean, and welcoming educational facility.

Qualifications

• Basic cleaning skills, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, waste disposal, and sanitization
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor scrubbers, and related tools
• Understanding of safety procedures and cleaning best practices
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness
• Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with colleagues
• Flexibility to work on-site in Bentonville, AR, and adapt to changing priorities and schedules
• Physical ability to perform tasks requiring bending, lifting, and standing for prolonged periods
• Prior experience in custodial or facility maintenance is preferred but not required
