Pre-Roll Machine Operator

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our cannabis manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of advanced machinery to produce high-quality products. Your expertise in machine setup, operation, and troubleshooting will ensure efficient production processes while maintaining strict quality standards. Duties

• Set up, maintenance, and operation of large format manufacturing and support machinery, and their associated software UI.
• Read and interpret technical documents.
• Troubleshooting equipment and its control software.
• Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and inspections on machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Handle materials using forklifts and other materials handling equipment.
• Maintain detailed records of production activities, machine logs, quality control checks, and shift reports.

Job Specifications

• Advanced knowledge and understanding of cannabis processing; proper technique and handling of finished product.
• Advanced knowledge of seed-to-sale cannabis tracking system as it relates to how batches are packed, labeled and shipped.
• Advanced knowledge of Metrc in regards to making a package from a package and entering all data correctly.
• Understanding and implementation of the techniques, policies, procedures.
• Basic knowledge and understanding of local and state laws and statues; with an emphasis on continual knowledge and understanding.
• Skill in analyzing and troubleshooting problems within a process flow.
• Show self-motivation/innovation and the ability to work well with all members of their staff and the company, as well as with their direct supervisor.
• Ability to listen well and communicate effectively orally and in writing with various audiences, especially with the direct supervisors and other team members.
• Ability to use initiative and independent judgment appropriately.

Additional Requirements:

• Driver’s license or State ID card
• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
• Must pass any and all required background checks
• Must be and remain compliant with any and all legal or company regulations for working in the industry
• Must be approved by the State to receive an Agent card

Minimum Education and Experience:

• High School Education or GED graduate.
• 2 years experience processing cannabis.
• Previous experience working with automated cannabis machinery required.
• 2 years of Pre Roll manufacturing experience required.
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered

Working Conditions:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to perform grasping, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions.
• Must be able to sit for long periods of time while maintaining focus.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Must be able to lift, carry and balance up to 50 pounds (100 pounds with assistance) AND must be able to do so with extreme care and caution when working with plants and product.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
