What are the responsibilities and job description for the End User Computing Admin position at SSA Marine and Careers?
As an End User Computing Administrator at SSA Marine, you are charged with creating and automating processes that increase end-user device security and functionality. Supporting the tools and solutions that allow coveted flexibility while keeping our Carrix companies protected. You will help develop and maintain roadmaps, technology refresh plans, and user device standards worldwide. Additionally, you work across on-premises and cloud-based solutions to improve user experience and support. You may participate on multiple project teams, working to determine how to meet end-user needs through technology devices, ultimately impacting how users experience technology within the organization.
- Provide solutions to increase security, standardization, and compliance throughout Carrix.
- Design, implement and maintain operating system deployment solutions for a diverse range of end-user devices.
- Participate in the development and maintenance of roadmaps, technology refresh plans, and user device standards world-wide.
- Assist in identifying, designing, implementing, and managing on premise systems and cloud-based solutions to improve user experience and support.
- Participate on project teams by validating needs, determining benefits, and ensuring alignment with the Tideworks technical strategy; as well as performing research and development within the project lifecycle to support technical analysis and design.
- Participate in execution, testing and solution roll-out for projects.
- Work to provide solutions to increase security, standardization, and compliance throughout Carrix.
- Act as an escalation point for on-site support staff coverage world-wide.
- Participate in the implementation and maintenance of OS deployment solutions for end-user devices and apply OS and application patches and upgrades.
- Use Autopilot and Intune device profiles to automatically provision front line and end user devices.
- Package and deploy software applications using tools like PowerShell, Configuration Manager, and Intune.
- Automate routine tasks and assist in the automation of workflows for other teams.
- Upgrade administrative tools and utilities as needed.
- Provide reporting from managed systems such as Intune, Tanium, Entra Active Directory and purge aged data.
- Assist in identification of remediation targets for all client management tools. Rapid 7 experience a plus
- Work to achieve OKRs.
- Other duties as assigned.
- A two-year degree or equivalent technical experience is required.
- 2 or more years' experience providing technical customer support in a corporate environment, specifically supporting desktop computers and mobile devices.
- 1 or more years' experience using hardware and software management tools to standardize and secure computer configurations and compliance.
- Experience using the ServiceNow platform, specifically Service Management and IT Operations preferred.
Key Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Knowledge of O365 admin, Dell, and Microsoft hardware platforms.
- Basic knowledge of ITILv3 or related service delivery frameworks.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows server and desktop operating systems, group policy, AAD, and Intune.
- Knowledge of operating system deploying, scripting, antivirus, antimalware, device encryption, and core systems infrastructure (DHCP, DNS, Networking etc.).
- Knowledge of ServiceNow platform, especially Service Management and IT Operations.
- Knowledge of distribution, operating system deploying, scripting, antivirus, antimalware, device encryption, and core systems infrastructure.
- Foundational communication, technical support, customer service, analytical, problem solving, and prioritization skills.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple terms.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
- Ability to find root causes of problems and determine efficient solutions.
- Ability to multitask, be comfortable under high-stress, and exhibit poise and focus.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and balance competing priorities like requests, production support incidents, change requests, scheduled maintenance, and project work.
- Required job duties are normally performed in a climate-controlled office environment, or remotely from home.
- Exposure to computer screens.

Compensation: $90,000 - 100,000 per year
