Overview
We are seeking a professional and dependable Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various types of trucks, including flatbeds. This role involves on site drop and hook from 8pm until all orders are filled, delivering freight efficiently and safely across designated routes while maintaining compliance with all safety regulations and company policies. Duties
- Safely operate commercial trucks, including manual transmission vehicles Super 10/15 and 10/15, and specialized equipment such as flatbeds.
- On site drop and hook from 8pm until all orders are filled
- Secure the loaded trailer (3 straps) before leaving for the tarp station
- Drive route schedules efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate logs of loaded trailers and shipment statuses.
- Communicate effectively with fork lift driver regarding delivery schedules or any issues encountered during the night.
- Follow all safety procedures related to driving and cargo handling to promote a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in truck driving, including freight transportation.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL).
- Experience operating manual transmission vehicles preferred.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards for commercial drivers.
- Strong driving skills with a clean driving record.
- Ability to secure freight efficiently and safely. (3 straps)
