What are the responsibilities and job description for the Oxygen Delivery and Warehouse Technician position at SS Medical?
SS Medical, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Coordinator/Oxygen Delivery Technician to join our team. The Warehouse Coordinator maintains an organized warehouse and works closely with the branch manager to ensure that medical equipment (HME) and Oxygen Delivery Service is handled timely and accurately.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure full compliance with all SS Medical warehouse policies
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse space
- Assist manager/delivery technicians with incoming/outgoing inventory / prepare equipment (pre-assembly) for delivery
- Monitor inventory levels/ perform weekly inventory counts/ generate inventory reports / daily utilization of WIP online system
- Perform deliveries / fill in for absent technicians
- On-Call Rotation
Equipment Management and Cleaning
- Perform Inventory counts and complete subsequent report for VA owned home medical equipment
- Unload incoming freight from delivery trucks
- Arrange the warehouse layout according to current inventory levels
- Perform cleaning and disinfecting of VA and SS Medical owned equipment, as needed
- Locate/assemble/stage equipment for home deliveries
Utility Driver
- Deliver equipment to VA or other SS Medical locations
- Deliver equipment to patient’s homes, when called upon
- Travel to other SS Medical locations to assist in warehouse compliance
- Perform on-site warehouse and/or vehicle inspections (manager’s discretion)
Qualifications
- Ability to lift 100 lbs. unaided
- Safely operate and maintain a forklift
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Perform warehouse duties in hot or cold weather
- Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
- Basic level accounting skills
- Cleaning equipment
- Using chemical cleaning agents
- Handling potentially bio-contaminated equipment
- Able to tolerate moderate to loud noise levels
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
