Role Description
- This is a full-time, on-site position for a Respiratory Therapist located in Kiefer, OK. The Respiratory Therapist will be responsible non-clinical care and support to patients
- Initial set-up of all Oxygen Patients and Ventilator Patients
- Perform Ninety Day Check/Follow Up to Plan of Care for Oxygen Patients
- Perform Thirty Day Check/Follow Up to Plan of Care for Ventilator Patients
- Provide patient re-education as needed
- Handle deliveries of medical equipment (Oxygen Tanks)
- Accurate documentation and paperwork
- Joint commission knowledge
- Rotating on call schedule
Qualifications
Education and/or Experience:
- Associate's / bachelor's degree - Respiratory Therapy / Registered Nurse
- Continuing education as required for maintaining licensure.
Language Skills:
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating manuals, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write legibly and prepare routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before customers and peers.
Mathematical Skills:
- Basic math skills
Reasoning Ability:
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form.
Certificates, Licenses, Registration:
- Maintain current licensure for OK and surrounding states (reimbursement available) in good standing for states covered
- Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
Physical Demands:
- Frequent stooping, bending, walking, and light to moderate lifting of up to 55 pounds.
Work Environment:
Indoor:
- Exposure to hazardous chemicals
- Potentially bio-contaminated equipment and environment
- Extremes of heat and cold
- Moderate to loud noise levels
Outdoor:
- Exposure to adverse weather conditions while driving and loading/unloading equipment
- Cleaning of equipment
- Moderate to loud noise levels
Job Type: Full-time
Pay is based on Experience & Certification - $28-35/hr Health Pay
Expected hours: Flexibility to work up to 50 hours a week.
Shift:
- Day shift
- Rotating on call with stipend
