Position Summary

As a Substitute Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering quality instruction and maintaining a positive classroom environment in the absence of regular teaching staff. This role requires flexibility, strong communication skills, and the ability to engage students across various grade levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow lesson plans and deliver instruction as provided by the regular teacher.
• Maintain classroom discipline and ensure a safe learning environment.
• Adapt to different classroom settings and grade levels as needed.
• Communicate effectively with students, staff, and administration.
• Report any issues or concerns to the appropriate school personnel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Previous teaching or substitute teaching experience is a plus.
• Strong organizational and classroom management skills.
• Ability to engage and motivate students of varying ages and abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing classroom environments.
