Company Driver - Dry Van

SS American Logistics is hiring experienced Class A CDL drivers for nationwide OTR dry van freight. We offer steady miles, late-model equipment, and reliable weekly pay, and we run our company on professionalism, consistency, and respect for our drivers.

Pay & Miles

• $2,100–$2,400 weekly average
• 2,500–3,000 miles per week
• Weekly direct deposit
• Detention, extra stop, and layover pay
• W-2 company driver position

Freight

• 100% dry van, no-touch freight
• Mix of drop & hook and live loads
• Stable, long-term freight nationwide

Home Time

• 3 weeks out / 1 week home

Equipment

• 2025 Freightliner Cascadia 126
• 2026 Utility 53' dry van trailers
• APU for climate control without idling
• Inverter, refrigerator, microwave, and TV
• GPS and ELD equipped

What We Provide

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum 2 years of driving experience, including at least 1 year OTR
• Dry van experience preferred
• Clean driving record (last 5 years)
• Clean Clearinghouse
• No DUI/DWI, ever
• Valid DOT medical card
• Able to run nationwide OTR
• Able to communicate in English

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailers safely and in compliance with DOT regulations and company policy
• Complete thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Plan routes and manage schedules for on-time pickups and deliveries
• Keep accurate ELD logs, load details, and delivery paperwork
• Stay in communication with dispatch on load status, delays, and route changes
