What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laborer/Pipe layer (Experienced) position at SRV Construction, Inc.?
SRV Construction, Inc is currently looking to fill the position of Experienced Laborer/Pipelayer on both Private and Prevailing Wage Jobs. Wage will depend on experience.
Pipelayer responsibilities/Job descriptions
- Assemble and connect pipe systems for water mains, sewers, and drains.
- Should be able to calculate slopes, set alignment and grades using alignment grades and/or pipe and spin laser.
Laborer responsibilities/Job descriptions
- Perform various manual tasks such as digging trenches, unloading building materials, and preparing job sites.
- Knowledge of use hand tools like shovels or picks while operating machinery and assist crews with other necessary tasks.
- Performs manual work in preparing areas for construction.
- Performs a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor.
Physical demands
- The position is required to lift heavy objects, walk and stand for long periods of time and perform strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions.
- While performing the essential functions of this position, the employee is exposed to wet, cold, heat, quickly changing conditions, work near moving mechanical parts, and work in high precarious places, outdoor weather conditions, cold and heat.
- Rate of pay: $27 - $50 /hour, depending on experience (includes prevailing wage).
Schedule: 4 x 10
Primary Prevailing Wage
Work in Island, Skagit and Snohomish counties.
License/Certification: Driver's License (Required)
Drug testing required for pre-employment and random testing.

Pay: $28.00 - $50.00 per hour
