What are the responsibilities and job description for the Member Service Specialist position at SRT?
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Monday-Friday; 8AM-5PM
- Provide customer education and promote sale of business and residential products and services.
- Maintain knowledge and understanding of complex products and services including internet, phone, security, surveillance, Business Cloud Communications, SIP trunking, and related services.
- Create and process service order tasks and schedule technicians for customer installations and other work.
- Provide administrative support for Account Executives and Sales Engineer.
- Perform receptionist duties including greeting customers, answering/transferring phone calls, receiving and posting payments.
- Administer SRT directory listing. Maintain detailed records to ensure accuracy.
- Participate in ongoing training to keep abreast of technical developments and the skills needed to perform the job.
- Sustain continuous process improvement perspective. Identify areas of improvement and participate in efforts for continuous process improvement.
- Assist in the development of processes and procedures to improve and enhance performance and operational effectiveness.
- Maintains current knowledge and adheres to company policies and procedures.
- Participates in safety training and employee meetings.
