Position Overview:
Strategic Retail Solutions (SRS) seeks reliable, tech-savvy merchandisers for our gig-based positions. Our merchandisers are the backbone of our company, handling a variety of tasks from audits to planogram implementation. This is not full-time or part-time work; it's project-based gig work.
Pay Rate: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour, varying by client, not experience.
Responsibilities:
- Complete all types of resets, from simple updates to full aisle changes.
- Read, understand, and accurately follow planograms.
- Perform audits, place and maintain POP and POS materials, pull and plug products, and handle other merchandising tasks as needed.
- Use your smartphone to enter data, submit detailed surveys, and upload clear, high-quality photos live while in the store.
- Enable location permissions on your smartphone for project verification.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with store staff.
- Take full responsibility for your assigned area, completing all work offered fully and on time.
Requirements:
- Proven experience with resets and general merchandising.
- Comfortable with technology; must have an Android or iPhone with reliable internet access, know how to use Google Chrome and third-party apps, and be able to submit surveys and photos live while on site.
- Able to handle data-intensive and photo-heavy surveys and reports.
- Organized, dependable, and self-motivated, with the ability to plan ahead and complete work with urgency.
- Reliable transportation and a valid, non-expired driver’s license.
- Able to read, understand, and follow written instructions carefully.
- Daily email access and reliable phone/text communication are required.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, bend, squat, kneel, reach up and down, lift and carry boxes up to 10 pounds, and move light fixtures on wheels.
