Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Project Manager to join our team in the Chantilly, VA, location. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Directly contributes to project definition, development and/or enhancement efforts including cost management/avoidance, schedule estimation and tracking, contract performance management, risk management, requirements analysis, and quality assurance activities. Ensures proper performance of tasks necessary to achieve the most efficient and effective execution of the project objectives. Utilizes expert communication skills needed to direct the skilled technical resources and report on the technical progress, issues, and problem areas, as well as write and review technical documents. Manages assigned projects developing software, solutions or systems engineering efforts to support cyber-focused development. Familiar with multiple development methodologies (e.g. agile, Scrum, TDD, waterfall) Tasks may include Graphical User Interfaces (GUI's), middleware, data transformations, statistical and big data analysis. Technical experience with multiple programming languages to include Java, Django, Python, Drupal, or other high-level language development or database management. Ability to design end-to-end data systems. Communicates status with leadership and customers. Interacts with senior external personnel on significant technical matters often requiring coordination between organizations. Applies extensive technical expertise and has knowledge of other related disciplines. Answers technical questions regarding products and services, and may take part in putting together proposals, configurations and product offerings. Considered a Lead and may manage the work of others. Lead and/or support the following activities: Allocate resources (staffing, facilities, and budgets) on the contract Review and approve financial reports as appropriate Review risk and risk mitigation activities and allocate budgets for the same Prepare Project status reviews and other formal reviews to be presented to the Government Ensure the timely recruitment and training of Project staff - both direct and indirect Review all financial and technical reports before release to the Government Ensure compliance with all regulatory and administrative requirements imposed by the contract in coordination with the Contractor's contracts staff Coordinate the preparation of Basis of Estimates (BOEs), Unsolicited Proposals (UPs), Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and value engineering proposals to the Government Provide Contractor technical project input to the Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan reviews or Award Fee reviews, as appropriate Communicate issues and solutions to the broader ManTech program management structure as requested by senior leaders Basic Qualifications: Minimum Education: B.S. or relevant experience in related field. 7– 10 years’ experience as a Project or program manager in leading projects and contracts of similar technical scope, type, and complexity is required. Demonstrated experience in managing multi-task contracts and subcontracts of various types and complexity, as well as experience in leading a multi-vendor environment is required. Must have demonstrated experience in conducting technical project requirements analysis, resource allocation, project costing, deliverable tracking, schedule and financial data monitoring, and reporting. Must have at least seven (7) years of demonstrated experience in the management and control of funds and resources Technical experience preferred with IT and cybersecurity infrastructure, web-based IDE, Cloud/AWS technology, RMF process to achieve ATO, and application of data science and machine learning. Familiar with multiple development methodologies (e.g. agile, Scrum, TDD, waterfall). ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) Preferred Qualifications: PMP preferred Experience using Microsoft Office suite of tools to include Word, Excel and Project Security Clearance Requirements: Must possess and active TS/SCI w/ Poly Physical Requirements: Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
