The Administrative Assistant provides essential administrative and operational support to the office at a GMS location, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and excellent customer service.
Duties & Responsibilities
Manage incoming telephone calls, emails, and mail requests
Prepare and receive items for shipment via FedEx, UPS, and standard mail
Deliver, process, and respond to daily mail
Assist with customer inquiries and appropriately direct calls
Support the Office Manager and/or Branch Manager with daily operations related to customer orders, invoicing, office supplies, and facility maintenance
Scan, copy, file, and organize documents and records
Basic Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Demonstrated knowledge of administrative and office management practices and equipment

Ability to remain in a stationary position in an office environment approximately 70% of the time
