team consisting of 6 - 9 individuals to ensure the needs of the company, branches and suppliers are consistently met.

Essential Job Functions
• Use technology to implement process improvements to maximize workforce and payment processing efficiency.
• Ensure timely payment of invoices.
• Review and resolve issues and requests from the field in a timely basis while optimizing
relationships.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers to assist in resolving missing invoices/payments.
• Sustain internal controls of Accounts Payable procedures.
• Develop the skills of direct reports including leadership, communication (written and verbal) and technical skills
•In addition to supervisory duties, this position will maintain an individual workload while covering essential duties of employees that are out of the office.
Requirements
•Possess a can-do attitude and self-starter mentality.
•Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field, or equivalent professional experience
•Minimum of 5 years of functional experience in Accounts Payable
•Minimum of 3 years of managing a similarly sized Accounts Payable team
•Experience in a multi-state environment is highly desirable.
•Knowledge of DMSi/Agility a plus.
•Excellent written and oral communication skills and strong analytical reasoning skills with the ability to investigate and resolve issues as they arise
•Proficiency in MS Office products, especially Excel
•Personable, organized, & attention to detail are all traits that are a must
•Must demonstrate that you can work in a hands-on, team driven environment and is adaptable to change and growth
•Must have the ability to work in a fast-pace, dynamic environment, solving problems with a customer service attitude and being able to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization and external third parties
