Summary:
Under the general direction of the Marketing Manager, the Graphic Designer participates in the credit union’s marketing efforts to achieve overall organizational goals. This role is responsible for producing engaging visual content that supports branding, member communication, campaigns, credit union events, and community outreach. The ideal candidate is a creative thinker who thrives in collaboration, is proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud, and is comfortable supporting photography and videography projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Schedule:
Varies as required by departmental and community event planning needs. Occasional early mornings, late evenings and weekends may be required.
Marketing & Member Engagement
- Responsible for promoting and cross-selling credit union services to current and potential members using a member-benefit approach.
- Fully comply with all credit union policies, including the Bank Secrecy Act, Patriot Act, and OFAC policies.
Design & Creative Production
- Design visually compelling marketing materials for print and digital platforms, including social media, email campaigns, branch signage, promotions, presentations, and advertisements.
- Collaborate closely with the marketing team to develop creative concepts aligned with the credit union’s brand, mission, and strategic goals.
- Support photography and videography efforts, including assisting with shoots, capturing content as needed, and incorporating assets into final designs.
- Revise and refine designs based on feedback from marketing leadership and internal stakeholders.
- Prepare, organize, and maintain design files, templates, and digital assets.
- Maintain awareness of design trends while ensuring compliance with brand standards and regulatory requirements.
Event & Community Support
- Assist with marketing events and campaigns, including those requiring evening or weekend participation.
- Assist with internal and external signage, the Annual Membership Meeting, and community engagement initiatives.
- Serve as a credit union representative at branch and community events.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications:
Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Marketing, or related field.
- Familiarity with brand management and marketing compliance standards are preferred.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign; basic knowledge of Premiere Pro and/or After Effects.
- Experience with photography and videography, including basic editing and content integration.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint) and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience with CRM software and WordPress preferred.

Salary : $62,770 - $78,462
