Account Executive
Reports to: Administrator
POSITION SUMMARY
Coordinates and performs duties of marketing and communicating the role of the
Agency to the community. Including: Physician’s and physician groups, community
Associations, senior groups, ethnic clubs and groups, churches.
Completes various clerical tasks and ensures to complete a referral intake form for each patient/client referred to the nurse regisrty.
Takes the lead in mentoring branch directors and branch employees in best practices
for communication of the mission of the organization to clients and potential clients
throughout our service areas.
TASKS
- Demonstrates the “Golden Rule” of treating others the way we wish to be treated in all actions and communications.
- Performs work under the supervision of the agency management.
- Answers questions to referring sources and potential clients regarding the home health agency scope of services.
- Able to follow-up each referral to ensure proper coordination of home health care services.
- Completes a referral form accurately with client’s history and provides the home health agency an initial Physician orders.
- Attends appropriate management/office meetings.
- Provides supervisor with a weekly schedule of marketing task.
- Maintains a good working relationship with all office/field staff.
COMMUNICATIONS
- Communicates potential risk management issues and reports abuse or unsafe - illegal practice as required by law.
- Willing to participate in the marketing efforts of the office and does so as
- assigned.
- Participates in community relations' activities as directed by the Agency
- Management.

- Retains positive, open communication with the agency management.

- Recommends new policies and/or changes in current policies to improve quality
- of patient services as well as efficiency and effectiveness of services.

- regulations.
- Is punctual and reports to work as scheduled.
- Is flexible and works cooperatively for agency needs.
- Understands the concept of continuous quality improvement.
- Applies the concepts of quality improvement to all work practices.
- Knowledgeable of the agencies QI goals and participates as directed.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school graduate or G.E.D. Preferred.
- Read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job.
- Skills in typing and organizational abilities.
- Preferably has medical background, staffing, and home health care experience.
- Knowledge of common medical terminology preferred.
- Able to work independently, demonstrating good judgment.
- Must be accurate and detail oriented.
- Practices good customer service skills in all working relationships.
- Desire and ability to learn.
- Strong interpersonal skills, respectful, and courteous nature.
- Absence of criminal background.

- Language, demeanor and all interactions are professional.
- Is professional in appearance - clothing, grooming (hair, nails), etc.
