General Laborer-Block

We are currently seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our team as a General Laborer for our Block Division. This role is essential to maintaining the functionality and cleanliness of our block operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks that aid in the maintenance and operation of the Block Plant . Duties will include but are not limited to shoveling, sweeping, steam cleaning, painting, tire work, mechanical assistance, and lifting, pushing, and pulling various objects.

Your Mission & Key Responsibilities

• Shoveling: Manually move materials and clear areas to ensure safe and efficient quarry operations.
• Sweeping and Cleaning: Maintain a clean work environment through sweeping debris and steam cleaning equipment and areas as required.
• Painting: Apply paints and coatings to equipment, signs, and infrastructure to maintain aesthetic appearance and safety standards.
• Tire Work: Assist in the maintenance and repair of quarry vehicle tires, ensuring they are safe and operational.
• Mechanical Assistance: Provide support to the mechanical team during maintenance and repair activities to ensure minimal downtime of machinery.
• Lifting, Pushing, and Pulling: Safely handle materials, tools, and equipment, including the lifting, pushing, and pulling of various objects as necessary for daily operations.

• Ability to perform physical tasks and lift up to [specific weight] pounds.
• Strong work ethic and team player attitude.
• Previous experience in a similar role or industry preferred but not required.
• Willingness to work in varying weather conditions and perform a wide range of physical activities.
• Basic mechanical skills are a plus.
• Must adhere to all safety guidelines and wear provided personal protective equipment at all times.
