Mid- to Senior-Level Engineer (Civil, Mining, Environmental) Elko, Nevada (Hybrid) , USA SRK Consulting is an independent, international consulting practice, providing globally integrated consulting services to the international mining and metals sector. We are seeking a Mid- to Senior-Level Engineer (Civil, Mining, Environmental). Description of Responsibilities: SRK is seeking a self-motivated mid- to senior-level Engineer (Civil, Mining, Environmental) to join a diverse team of consulting experts to support domestic and international mining projects. This is a unique opportunity to help build and sustain the local Elko practice for an employee-owned global mining consultancy. Execution and technical participation in civil design for mine waste and water engineering, permitting, and closure projects Project management of technical deliverables, budgets, and schedules Participation in conceptual through detailed design and permitting processes Preparation and review of supporting engineering calculations, models, methods Interface with clients and completion of site visits / inspections as necessary Active engagement in development and/or advancement of SRK`s engineering practice Active engagement and participation in business development Active engagement in mentoring others Other duties as assigned Essential Requirements: A bachelor’s degree in Civil or Mining Engineering or a related field Registered as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Nevada or ability to obtain registration Minimum 5 years of experience in the mining industry; professional consulting services a plus Ability and desire to collaborate with other technical specialists in mining, geochemistry, geotechnics, groundwater and environmental disciplines in a team-oriented environment Excellent analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills Strong inter-personal communication and writing skills Proficiency in civil engineering design software and methodologies (Civil3D preferred) Consultant (3-8 years - $80,000-$110,000) Senior Consultant (8-15 years - $100,000-$160,000) Principal Consultant (15+ - $120,000-$200,000+) In return for considering a future with us, we offer: An attractive compensation package.
