Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Tableau Developer with a strong Data Science background to join our analytics team. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Tableau dashboard development, SQL programming, Oracle databases, and data visualization, along with hands-on exposure to data science techniques such as predictive analytics, statistical modeling, and machine learning.
This role requires a strong analytical mindset, business intelligence expertise, and the ability to transform complex datasets into meaningful insights for business stakeholders and executive leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards, scorecards, and reports.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and data scientists to gather reporting requirements and deliver actionable insights.
- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
- Work extensively with Oracle databases, including performance tuning and data integration activities.
- Perform data modeling, ETL processes, and data validation across multiple data sources.
- Apply data science techniques such as regression analysis, forecasting, clustering, and predictive modeling to support business decisions.
- Improve dashboard performance and optimize large dataset reporting in Tableau.
- Ensure compliance with data governance, security standards, and BI best practices.
- Troubleshoot Tableau server, data connectivity, and reporting performance issues.
- Support enterprise-level and executive (C-suite) reporting initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 5 years of experience in Tableau development and business intelligence reporting.
- Strong expertise in Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, and Tableau data visualization best practices.
- Advanced SQL development and query optimization skills.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle databases and PL/SQL.
- Solid understanding of data science concepts including:
- Predictive Modeling
- Statistical Analysis
- Machine Learning
- Forecasting
- Clustering
- Experience with ETL tools and data preparation workflows.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and BI architecture.
