Title: Sr. Business Analyst
Location: Oaks, PA Hybrid onsite 3 days a week (Tues Thurs)
Duration: 12 months (Potential for extension)
Job Description:
We are looking for Sr. Business Analyst with at least 8 years of IT experience and strong Wealth Management experience. This resource need Wealth Management Platform experience and a mix of technical and functional core BA skills.
Position Description:
The Platform Delivery Implementations team manages and/or coordinates all client facing aspects of projects related to existing and new SEI Wealth Platform Services. These include on-boarding of new firms (with or without existing books of business), re-configurations, firm acquisitions, and client projects for certain business events pertaining to SEI Wealth Platform firms and third parties. The Configuration Implementation Lead collaborates with external and internal teams and is responsible for designing a customized business operating model in support of the client firms use of the Platform.
The responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to some or all of the following:
- Lead and/or participate in various simultaneous client and internal projects or initiatives
- Participate in project plans for each client implementation or client project in conjunction with the project management team
- Support the development of the project management lifecycle through standardization and continuous improvement efforts
- Ensure that all interdependencies and resource needs are captured and managed
- Maintain project and team artifacts
- Effectively support status updates to SEI stakeholders and clients as needed
- Manage collection and population of client facing configuration items in support of new client setup on the SEI Wealth Platform
- Engage various internal teams as needed to support potential changes in service including development needs
- Perform effectively in a team environment including internal SEI teams (market units, development, operations)
- Where required, train other team members
- Be able to function as an individual contributor and make independent decisions where needed
- Obtain professional certifications where required
- Monitor and adhere to administrative policies and procedures.
Position Requirements:
- B.S./B.A. in Business or related field preferred
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in the financial services industry specifically wealth management
- Extensive Wealth Management experience MUST HAVE
- Knowledge of Private Banking business.
- Knowledge of global instruments including equity, fixed income and fund markets
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Project, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Word ; SharePoint, Confluence a plus
- Strong organizational skills including an ability to manage multiple plans with concurrent deliverables and resource needs
- Proven ability to support resource load balancing across multiple projects
- Ability to work effectively under little supervision
- Ability to effectively and successfully manage multiple tasks and deliverables
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong adaptability, innovative skills, and attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills
- Must be an effective communicator, with proven experience delivering presentations to senior management and large audiences
