Project Manager

Job Title: Senior Project Manager (Expert)

Client: NeDHHS State of Nebraska
Location: Lincoln, NE (On-site)
Duration: 12 Months
Work Hours: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM CST | Monday Friday

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience managing complex, large-scale projects in a matrixed environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams without direct authority.
• Strong experience with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project or equivalent).
• Expertise in developing project artifacts such as schedules, risk registers, stakeholder plans, and status reports.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present to executive leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with state or federal health and human services programs (e.g., Medicaid, SNAP, TANF, child welfare, behavioral health).
• Background in managing federally funded projects or grants.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance and government program implementation.
• PMP certification or equivalent.
• Bachelor s degree in Public Administration, Public Health, Business Administration, or a related field.
