Databases: Relational SQL & NoSQL (Snowflake, Postgres, Cassandra)
Cloud Services: AWS (EC2, S3, EMR, RDS, Lambda, DMS)
Programming Languages: Python (Object-Oriented)
Big Data Tools: PySpark
Optional Technical Skillset:
Data Pipeline & Integration: Informatica Cloud (IICS), PowerCenter
Stream Processing Systems: Spark Streaming
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate a data-driven mindset, excellent communication, and attention to detail.
- Acquire data from primary/secondary sources and maintain data systems.
- Analyze data using statistical techniques and deliver ongoing reports.
- Own and maintain dashboards, scheduled reports, and ad hoc data requests.
- Collaborate with management to prioritize business and data needs.
- Partner with BI team members to structure and provide access to data.
- Build strong relationships with BI stakeholders to understand and execute data requirements.
Relevant Experience:
15 years in data analytics, consulting, or related quantitative roles.
5 years hands-on experience with Tableau, Business Objects, and other visualization tools.
Expertise in data modeling, database design, data mining, and segmentation techniques.
Strong analytical skills with a focus on data accuracy and detail.
Proficiency in SQL, Hive, Pig for querying and reporting.
Ability to translate business requirements into technical SQL code
