Job Overview
We are seeking a QA Inspector I Warehouse to support quality assurance activities within an onsite pharmaceutical warehouse environment. This role focuses on printed packaging material control, artwork review, compliance inspections, documentation, and ensuring adherence to GMP and GDP standards. The QA Inspector plays a key role in maintaining product integrity, supporting warehouse operations, and ensuring accuracy of packaging components.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse and Packaging Material Control
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, handling, and inventory management of printed packaging materials such as labels, cartons, and inserts.
- Dispense printed packaging materials according to batch packaging records.
- Monitor warehouse environmental conditions temperature, humidity, light to maintain product quality.
- Conduct inspections of incoming and outgoing goods to ensure compliance with GDP and product integrity.
- Ensure cleaning and maintenance of printed packaging material storage areas.
Artwork Review and Documentation
- Review and verify artwork proofs for accuracy, regulatory compliance, and consistency with product specifications.
- Ensure artwork meets FDA and international labeling guidelines.
- Maintain a complete archive of approved artwork files and document revisions appropriately.
Quality Assurance and Compliance
- Document discrepancies involving damaged, defective, or nonconforming packaging materials and initiate corrective actions.
- Generate quality reports for inspections, audits, and packaging material management.
- Perform SAP transactions such as posting dispensed materials and other required entries.
- Conduct daily quality rounds on the shop floor to ensure compliance with GMP.
- Participate in internal audits and support continuous process improvements.
- Report issues to QA Management including batch discrepancies and shop floor deviations.
General Expectations
- Complete all required training and follow company SOPs, cGMP, GDP, and safety policies.
- Support warehouse and QA activities as assigned by management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field.
- 2 to 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
- Experience with printed packaging materials, artwork review, warehouse QA, and inventory management.
- Strong understanding of GMP, GDP, and regulatory labeling requirements FDA EMA.
- Proficient in MS Office and familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP.
Pharma industry experience is mandatory. Biopharma experience is not accepted.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience reviewing packaging artwork for compliance.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical packaging, labeling, and distribution regulations.
