Position Overview
We are seeking Manufacturing Operators I and II to support pharmaceutical production activities in a regulated environment. The ideal candidate must have experience operating manufacturing equipment, following batch records, and maintaining strict compliance with cGMP standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate pharmaceutical manufacturing machinery independently and accurately complete documentation.
- Follow Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Perform machine changeovers, cleaning, setup, and ensure room and equipment readiness.
- Conduct line clearance, verify equipment calibration, check pressure differentials, and prepare production areas.
- Transfer and verify materials for dispensing, blending, compression, and packaging.
- Wear appropriate PPE and ensure adherence to all safety and quality procedures.
- Maintain accurate and timely manufacturing documentation.
- Participate in investigations, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis as needed.
- Maintain compliance with cGMP, SOPs, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Support extended hours or overtime based on production schedule.
- Assist with training and support a safe, clean working environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Manufacturing Management.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Minimum 3 years of direct pharmaceutical manufacturing experience.
- Strong understanding of granulation, compression, coating, and encapsulation equipment.
- Ability to document clearly and accurately with legible handwriting.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- English proficiency (written and verbal).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in generic pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Technical writing skills and knowledge of scientific manufacturing principles.
- Experience conducting investigations and troubleshooting equipment issues.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work with powder-containing active pharmaceutical ingredients.
- Frequent heavy lifting, bending, standing, and walking for long periods.
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and operate pallet jacks to move loads up to 200–300 kg.
- Ability to climb ladders when required.
