Responsibilities
- Perform laboratory experiments as directed by senior scientists.
- Collaborate with scientists from other disciplines (e.g., chemistry, molecular biology, cancer biology, neuroscience and immunology) in cross-divisional teams.
- Keep a detailed laboratory notebook and present their progress to the group.
- Complete necessary training classes and maintain a safe working environment.
- Learn and abide by SRI’s intellectual property guidelines.
- Bachelor’s degree in biology, biotechnology, biochemistry, or similar discipline.
- Experience with mammalian tissue culture, PCR, and/or animal handling is a plus but not required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
