Job Title: Board Level Test Engineer (Day Shift)
Location: Santa Clara, CA
Job description / Key Responsibilities
- Perform first-level hardware triage and troubleshooting for PCs and server platforms.
- Design and implement diagnostic tools and scripts for early hardware validation and fault isolation.
- Identify and resolve setup issues and test failures using structured troubleshooting methodologies.
- Develop and maintain test automation using Shell and Python scripting.
- Work with motherboards and GPU platforms in lab environments.
- Work with systems connected by various networking protcols, including Ethernet, NVLink and Infiniband
- Operate in Windows and Linux operating systems for test and debug tasks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support diagnostics, validation, and smooth product transitions in the NPI cycle.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- BS Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Strong scripting skills in Python and Shell.
- Familiarity with Windows and Linux OS environments.
- Working knowledge of hardware protocols: Ethernet, Infiniband, PCIe, USB, HDMI, I2C, SPI.
- Experience with CPUs and GPUs.
- Proficient in using test equipment for diagnostics and validation.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Linux or scripting experience is a huge plus
