Position Overview
Lead the architecture, governance, security, and enterprise migration of Microsoft 365 collaboration solutions, including SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft 365 Groups, and Power Platform. Drive scalable, secure collaboration environments and provide technical leadership for enterprise migrations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design SharePoint Online and Teams architecture, permissions, information architecture, and administration models.
- Establish Microsoft 365 governance for provisioning, access controls, retention, ownership, and lifecycle management.
- Lead migrations from on-premises SharePoint and file shares to Microsoft 365.
- Design SharePoint hubs, libraries, metadata, content types, navigation, search, and document management.
- Implement security and compliance controls using Microsoft Purview, DLP, retention policies, and sensitivity labels.
- Integrate SharePoint and Teams with Microsoft 365 services and enterprise applications.
- Develop governance standards, reference architectures, documentation, and operational procedures.
- Use PowerShell for Microsoft 365 administration and support workflow modernization using Power Automate.
- Lead technical evaluations, resolve complex architecture issues, and mentor engineering teams.
Required Qualifications
- 8–10 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft 365 Groups.
- Strong expertise in SharePoint architecture, information management, permissions, and governance.
- Experience migrating on-premises SharePoint and file shares to Microsoft 365.
- Knowledge of Teams governance, Microsoft Entra ID, authentication, RBAC, and access management.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Purview, DLP, retention, sensitivity labels, and compliance.
- Proficiency in PowerShell and Microsoft 365 administration.
- Experience with Power Platform, particularly Power Automate.
- Understanding of cloud infrastructure, networking, endpoint security, and Microsoft 365 dependencies.
- Strong technical leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading enterprise-scale Microsoft 365 migrations and transformation programs.
- Familiarity with ShareGate or similar migration tools.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Graph APIs and integrations.
- Microsoft certifications such as MS-102, MS-700, or related certifications.
- Experience in healthcare or other regulated industries.
