Starting Pay: $22-24/hour

What You'll Do
As a Fire Systems Inspector, you'll perform inspections and testing of fire protection systems while learning and applying NFPA standards and industry best practices.
Responsibilities include:
- Inspecting fire protection systems in accordance with NFPA standards
- Performing routine testing and documenting inspection results
- Reviewing inspection findings and communicating deficiencies with customers
- Utilizing company technology to manage schedules, reports, timesheets, and safety documentation
- Maintaining inspection equipment and company vehicles
- Working closely with the Inspection Coordinator to ensure customer expectations are met
- Completing company-sponsored training programs and manufacturer training as required
- Staying current on code requirements and industry developments
- Obtaining OSHA 10 certification through the company safety program
- Supporting additional department needs as assigned

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Basic computer proficiency
- Mechanical aptitude and basic math skills
- Ability to work independently following training
Preferred Experience
Ideal candidates may come from backgrounds such as:
- HVAC
- Plumbing
- Electrical
- Mechanical trades
- Facilities maintenance
- Construction
- Manufacturing
- Fire protection
- Military service
Previous fire protection experience is a plus but not required.
Preferred Certifications
- NICET Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- OSHA 10 Certification (provided through company training)
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work in commercial, industrial, and residential environments
- Comfortable climbing ladders and working at heights
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Frequent walking, standing, and stair climbing throughout the day
- Travel between multiple customer locations
- Occasional overnight travel with advance notice
