A fast-growing advanced manufacturing company is seeking a skilled CMM Inspector to join their team. This is a great opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in a high-tech environment and contribute to precision manufacturing excellence.

📍 Location: Newburyport, Mass
📅 Start Date: ASAP
📆 Duration: 6-month contract plus extension
💼 Employment Type: Green card holders and U.S. citizens only
🧑‍💻 Interview Process: Direct interview with hiring manager; quick offer turnaround

• 3 years of experience in Quality/CMM Inspections in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with Calypso software is preferred. (NOT REQUIRED)
• Strong understanding of GD&T, blueprint reading, and dimensional inspection.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
• High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification or associate degree preferred).
  
  

• Operate Zeiss CMMs using Calypso software to inspect complex precision components.
• Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T to develop and execute inspection plans.
• Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections.
• Analyze and report measurement data, identifying trends and quality issues.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to resolve non-conformances.
• Maintain and calibrate metrology equipment.
• Document inspection results and maintain traceability per quality standards.
  
  

• Experience in aerospace, medical device, or precision manufacturing.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 or AS9100 quality systems.
• Knowledge of SPC and data analysis tools.
