$20 per hour plus performance bonuses
SRA Roofing is hiring full-time Door-to-Door Canvassers in the Springfield area. You will speak with homeowners in assigned neighborhoods, briefly introduce our roofing services, identify homeowners who may need a roof inspection, and schedule appointments for our sales team.
This is an outdoor, face-to-face position—not a call-center job. No roofing or canvassing experience is required. We provide paid training, a defined conversational approach, assigned territories, and ongoing coaching.
What We Offer
- Guaranteed base pay of $20 per hour
- Performance bonuses - $50 for each completed roof inspection

- Full-time, approximately 30 hours per week, with most work occurring during the hours homeowners are available.

What You Will Do
- Walk assigned residential neighborhoods and speak with homeowners
- Introduce yourself and SRA Roofing in a professional, respectful manner
- Ask brief questions to determine whether a homeowner may need a roof inspection
- Schedule qualified appointments for our roofing representatives
- Accurately record doors knocked, conversations, leads, and appointments
- Revisit assigned homes at different times when necessary
- Meet reasonable daily activity and appointment-setting goals
- Follow company safety standards and local canvassing regulations
Schedule
This is a full-time, in-person position.
Because homeowners are more likely to be available at certain times, the schedule may include late afternoons, early evenings, and some Saturdays.

- At least 18 years old
- Reliable transportation to assigned work areas
- Comfortable walking and working outdoors
- Able to communicate clearly and respectfully with homeowners
- Self-motivated and dependable when working independently
- Willing to follow a proven conversational approach
- Able to remain positive when homeowners are not interested
- Comfortable using a smartphone to record daily activity
Previous experience in canvassing, appointment setting, customer service, retail, hospitality, fundraising, or sales is helpful but not required.
About SRA Roofing
SRA Roofing helps homeowners understand the condition of their roofs and determine whether storm damage or other roofing concerns should be professionally evaluated. Our canvassers open the conversation and schedule inspections; they are not expected to climb roofs or provide technical roofing assessments.
