About the Role: Showroom 316 is seeking a creative, digital media candidate for the role of Social Media & PR intern. This role offers flexible part-time hours per week, depending on the business’ needs and season, and will work directly with the showroom & marketing team. This position is highly focused on digital media tasks such as content creation, content organization, media research, event calendarizing, occasional PR showroom assistance, and more. It is essential that you are a highly creative person with experience working on digital media. As an intern at SR316 you will get the opportunity to work alongside talented industry experts with unique, creative views, and get hands-on experience to develop scalable skills. You will get the chance to have an inside view of the operations of fashion PR & marketing, and most importantly play a key role in the continuous growth of our business.
Responsibilities:
Create fashion digital content with a keen eye for detail and accuracy
Assist in the development of digital campaigns
Assist with occasional creative shoots
Keep clean, organized digital files and calendars
Meet deadlines while working both independently & collaboratively
Communicate professionally and efficiently, both digitally & in-person
Maintain a high level of discretion with private information
Candidate Requirements:
Current student applicants preferred but not required
0-1 year of experience in fashion PR, marketing, and/or social media
Current fashion industry & digital trend knowledge required
Excel/Sheets proficiency
Strong attention to detail
Problem-solving skills & collaborative, positive work ethic
Strong punctuality & reliable transportation
Ability to communicate professionally & effectively
Ability to self-manage deadlines & workflow
Reliable computer for digital work
