Responsibilities
- Perform quality inspections on incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Utilize various measuring tools such as calipers and coordinate measuring machines to assess product dimensions and tolerances.
- Conduct visual inspections using vision inspection systems to identify defects or deviations from quality standards.
- Analyze inspection data and prepare detailed reports on findings, including any non-conformities or areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Ensure adherence to FDA regulations, CGMP guidelines, and ISO 13485 standards throughout the inspection process.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and quality control activities in accordance with company policies.
Experience
- Proven experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing environment is essential.
- Familiarity with FDA regulations, CGMP practices, and ISO 13485 standards is highly desirable.
- Proficient in using measurement tools such as calipers and coordinate measuring machines.
- Experience with quality control software such as Calypso is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
