Tax Senior Associate
Location: Chapel Hill, NC (Regional Remote Option Available)
Salary Range: $100,000 – $110,000
About the Role
We are seeking a Tax Senior Associate with strong experience in business tax compliance and planning to join our team. This position focuses on partnerships, S corporations, and C corporations, with auto dealership experience as a significant plus. While local candidates are preferred, we are open to professionals from surrounding states.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for partnerships, S corps, and C corps.
- Conduct tax research and provide guidance on complex tax issues.
- Assist clients with tax planning strategies to optimize compliance and minimize liabilities.
- Collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure timely and accurate filings.
- Mentor and support junior staff as needed.
Qualifications
- 2–3 years of business tax experience (required).
- Experience with auto dealership tax matters is highly desirable.
- CPA license or active progress toward certification preferred.
- Strong understanding of federal and state tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
Work Arrangement
- Local candidates preferred, but open to candidates from surrounding states.
- Regional remote option available with occasional travel to client sites.
